AXA Insurance Offers Telemedicine with Consultation Cost Waived to All Individuals in Singapore in Line with Commitment to Support the Community

AXA Insurance today announced that it will be offering access to unlimited complimentary teleconsultations with General Practitioners and waiver of delivery fee for medication to all individuals in Singapore, from 23 July 2020 up till 31 December 2020. This initiative is launched in partnership with healthcare provider Fullerton Health, and anyone can sign up with AXA to enjoy this service.

“Today, people are seeking safe and convenient access to medical support as concerns about COVID-19 remain. At the same time, we have observed that the pandemic has dramatically accelerated the adoption of technology that help make our lives easier and safer,” said Sean Goh, Managing Director, Life, AXA Insurance. “Hence, we believe that by providing greater access to medical teleconsultations at a time where it’s most needed and beneficial, we can contribute towards protecting the health and well-being of people in Singapore.”

Video consultations with General Practitioners can be easily booked and administered through the Fullerton Health FHN3 app from 8:30am to 5:30pm on Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays). Patients who require medication can have it conveniently delivered to their doorstep within their selected delivery timeslot, and they will only have to pay for the cost of their medication. Patients can also easily access their medical history, prescription details, and documents such as electronic medical certificates within the app.

After 31 December 2020, individuals who have signed up with AXA for this offer can continue to access video consultations through the app at a member rate of $10 per teleconsultation (excludes medications, procedures and investigations).

Goh added that the company places great importance in supporting  the Singapore community during this challenging period. “Beyond insurance, we want to provide useful solutions and services that not only serve to protect our customers and the wider community, but that can also improve their lives.”

In line with its ongoing commitment to support its customers through this time of uncertainty, AXA is also providing additional value and perks for new sign-ups of eligible plans. These include 50% additional life coverage, shopping vouchers for everyday needs and premium discounts as part of the AXA Cares for You More campaign.
