AXA Announces Partnership with ClassPass to Provide Wellness Solutions for Customers

AXA today announced a strategic partnership with global fitness aggregator ClassPass to provide wellness solutions that promote both physical and mental well-being to its customers. This partnership is the result of a shared commitment between AXA and ClassPass to empower Singaporeans to live healthier lives.

Regular physical activity has been proven to reduce the risk of developing diseases such as some cancers, diabetes, and heart disease. Singaporeans recognise the value of physical well-being, and rated physical well-being the most important aspect of well-being in the AXA Better Life Index 2019. Beyond physical well-being, exercise is also known to promote emotional and mental well-being, a form of well-being that nearly one in three Singaporeans say they are lacking in the AXA Better Life Index 2019.

“It is clear to us that empowering our customers in making lifestyle choices that promote physical well-being will have both immediate and long-term impact as they build their better lives. We are excited to partner ClassPass, tapping into its expertise as a leading fitness and wellness platform to create unique solutions for our customers to improve their physical and mental well-being,” said Jean Drouffe, Chief Executive Officer, AXA Insurance Singapore.

ClassPass is the world’s biggest network of fitness venues, offering access to more than 30,000 partner studios and gyms in 28 countries across the globe. Since launching in Singapore in August 2018, ClassPass has grown tremendously. Singapore is now a top-ten global city in ClassPass's network of 2500+ cities, with tens of thousands of users and more than 500 venues on the platform; including fitness studios, gyms, hotels, wellness, and other activities. In Singapore that includes the likes of: Barry's bootcamp, Yoga Movement, Upside Motion Pilates, Absolute You, Orange Theory, Ritual, Haus, Intercontinental hotel, Park Royal, COMO, and Fairmont.

More details of the partnership are expected to be revealed in Q2 2020.
