Uncovering Singaporeans’ journeys towards a better life

We all want a "better life", but what does it mean to Singaporeans today? Do they define it in terms of family, finances, health, career, or simply enjoyment in life? Are Singaporeans making good progress towards their “better lives”?

The AXA Better Life Index 2019 is based on a survey of 1,008 Singaporeans across 4 generations (Generation Z, Millennials, Generation X, Baby Boomers), and it is the first index to assess the overall journey towards a better life among Singaporeans.

It comprises three components based on the concept of a life journey–Realisation, Empowerment and Achievement—to understand how Singaporeans define a better life, their purposes, goals, struggles, progress in achievements and fulfillment in life.
