Our Commitment to Road Safety

AXA Insurance, as one of the leading motor insurers in Singapore, is responsible to the society we operate in. We contribute to the social objectives of sustainable development through our committed actions aimed at protecting and supporting the community. With the increase in the vehicle and human population, AXA would like to reinforce the importance of road safety by reminding all motorists to be responsible drivers by changing their driving habits. Based on a Road Safety Barometer conducted in Europe by AXA annually, AXA Insurance conducted a similar survey in Singapore in the beginning of 2009.

The objective of the survey is to:
	Understand Singapore drivers’ driving habits, perception and understanding of safety rules and regulations
	Estimate, based on self-declaration, the level of compliance to road safety rules and regulations for different types of drivers
