AXA launches the first iPhone application for claims

  
 
AXA Insurance Singapore is the first insurer to launch an iPhone application. SmartClaims makes it easier for you to record your motor accident details on-the-spot!
 
           
 
 
 
 
   
Using SmartClaims is as easy as 1-2-3:
  1. Pre-set all your AXA Motor policies under 'My Profile' function.
  2. Record all necessary accident details as per the Claims Procedure under 'My Claims' function.
  3. Get further assistance, if required, under 'My Support' function. Otherwise, make your way to your selected workshop for final checks of your accident vehicle.
Check out all the useful features in the app:
  • Locate the nearest AXA Premium Workshop or Glass Repairer by GPS
  • Access AXA 24-hour hotline for towing services & further advice on the accident
  • Take photos of the accident scene & damages
  • Record 3rd party & witness details
  • Submit all accident details to your selected AXA Premium Workshop instantly
  • Get easy access to all Emergency numbers
  • Contact AXA or your agent for further assistance
   
 

Please Note

You need to take your vehicle to the selected workshop within 24 hours or by the next working day to complete the e-filing of your claims report as per GIA (General Insurance Association) regulation.

For Honda and Chevrolet scheme policyholders, please proceed to the respective workshops as specified on the GPS map.

                                                
 
 

Motor Claims Procedure and Documentation


 

Simple, hassle-free and fast! That’s how motor claims will be from now on.

The new Motor Claims Framework (MCF) introduced by the General Insurance Association of Singapore simplifies making motor claims for all users in Singapore

In an accident, here are the 4 simple steps you can follow:
  1. Get Information
    - Exchange particulars of involved parties including Name, NRIC/FIN number, Phone number, Address & Insurance Company

    - Take note of the vehicle numbers

    - Take digital photographs of all involved 3rd party vehicles & the accident scene and MMS to 97112758 for e-filing of accident report

  2. Call Our Hotline
    - Call our 24 hour hotline 1800-880 4741 for a tow truck or for further advice on the accident

     
  3. Report & Deliver Vehicle
    - Report and bring your accident vehicle (whether damaged or not) to one of our approved authorised workshops/reporting centres within 24 hours or by the next working day

     
  4. Lodge Police Report
    - Lodge a police report for the following motor accident cases
      • Injury
      • Non-injury involving a govt vehicle/damage to govt property
      • Non-injury involving a foreign vehicle
      • Non-injury involving a pedestrian or cyclist
      • Any accident outside of Singapore

Windscreen Repair Scheme
